She's a character, she has opinions.

That bullying meme doesn’t say what you think it says.

Re-Post if you are against bullying.
That girl you called a slut in class today: she’s a virgin.
The pregnant girl walking down the street: she got raped.
The boy you called lame: he has to work every night to support his family.
That girl you called fat: she’s starving herself.
The boy you made fun of for crying: his mother is dying.
The old man you made fun of [because he has] ugly scars: he fought for our country.
You think you know them. Guess what? You don’t!

Take a minute and re-read that. Seems like it’s presenting good reasons to not make judgments, doesn’t it? That person you harmed: don’t because they’re really trying to fit in and be just what society wants them to be. She’s a virgin! He’s only showing emotion because his mom is dying! She’s trying to starve herself down to an appropriate size! She had sex but it wasn’t her choice! The only problem is it’s still making judgments, just ones that are slightly hidden. The flip-side of this meme is that if that slutty girl really is a slut, it’s okay to call her one. Same with the preggo. The dude who tears up like a girly-girl? Have at him! The weirdos, uggos, and fatties who aren’t trying to change? Get ’em! The meme basically says that only the people who are trying to conform should be protected.

Let’s try this instead:

That girl you called a slut in class today: it’s none of your damn business what she does, women and girls who have sex aren’t sluts, and it’s her body and her decision, not yours. Don’t slut-shame.

The pregnant girl walking down the street: it’s none of your damn business, it’s her baby and her body, not yours. Don’t slut-shame.

The boy you called lame: it’s none of your damn business, maybe he’s a geek or a nerd or different from you and that’s just fine because it’s his decision, not yours. Don’t mock people based on their behavior.

That girl you called fat: it’s none of your damn business, it’s her body, not yours. Don’t mock people based on their appearance.

The boy you made fun of for crying: it’s none of your damn business, it’s okay for men and boys to show emotions, and they are his emotions, not yours, he gets to feel and express them however he wants. Don’t mock people based on their behavior.

The old man you made fun of [because he has] ugly scars: it’s none of your damn business, it’s his body, not yours. Don’t mock people based on their appearance.

It doesn’t matter what you know or don’t know about another person. It’s none of your business what they do with their life and their choices. Don’t bully. And think before you pass memes like this one along because in your zeal to help you may actually be doing more harm.
